Ida Grøn
Born on a cross road of artists, farmers and academics my life was prognosed early on... Today I am a documentary director/cinematographer – BA art history breed from the National Film and Television School in the UK and the University of Copenhagen in Denmark.
I have been involved in various creative outbursts and still am, but my platform is documentary-filmmaking. Here I combine my creative activities, my eager to listen to people’s stories and my love for creative collaboration.
I worked as a producer/director/editor for the independent tv collective tv-tv in Copenhagen. Danish National TV (DR2) broadcasted two of my first short documentaries, one of them even attended several festivals. In 2007 I co-founded the artist/curator group Tagging Art, nationally recognized with the exhibition Virtual Moves in SecondLife and the Danish National Gallery where I was exhibiting artist.
Siberia, Northern Norway, Burundi, the UK and Denmark have been my shooting fields.
