About Ida Grøn
Ida Grøn is educated with a MA in documentary directing from the National Film and Television School in the UK. She also holds a BA in Art History from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
Ida worked as a producer/director/editor for the independent tv collective tv-tv in Copenhagen. Danish National TV (DR2) broadcasted two of her short documentaries, one, Klara – Thoughts from the Taiga was supported by the Danish Film Workshop and shown on several festivals.
Ida Co-founded Made in Video, international festival for experimental video, 2006, and co-founded the artist/curator group Tagging Art, nationally recognized with the exhibition Virtual Moves at the Danish National Gallery where she was exhibiting artist.
Siberia, Northern Norway, Burundi, the UK and Denmark have been her shooting fields.
